The Bafana Bafana resume their qualification campaign for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations by welcoming Sao Tome and Principe in Group C on Friday evening.

South Africa started the campaign with a 2-0 loss to the Ghanaian leader in November last year, but they got their first points on the table after beating Sudan 1-0 three days later at the stadium. from Orlando.

The island nation, meanwhile, have yet to secure any points in the squad so far, having lost their opener 4-0 away to Sudan in November last year.
Sao Tome and Principe nearly got a point against Ghana at home five days later but fell narrowly 1-0 after conceding a penalty kick scored by Jordan Ayew.
