Veteran wing gets Argentina recall for Wallabies rematch

34-year-old winger Juan Imhoff was recalled in one of four changes to Argentina’s starting line-up for the second Test against Australia in San Juan on Saturday.

After a disappointing loss to the Wallabies in the first round of the Rugby Championship, Argentina coach Michael Cheika resisted the urge to make drastic changes on Matchday 23.

Most of the changes come in the backline, where experienced winger Imhoff will earn his 38th Test cap, replacing Santiago Cordero in the starting line-up, prompting Emiliano Boffelli to move to the right wing.

Center Matias Moroni and scrum half Gonzalo Bertranou replace Matias Orlando and Tomas Cubelli respectively.

In the only change to the dominant Argentine field of the first round, Thomas Gallo rotates into the starting lineup with Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro dropping to the bench.
